Cushioned, waterproof seat top
The UnChair's upholstered seat top offers a wonderful balance of comfort, firmness, durability, and ease of care with its 3/4" high-density EVA foam cushion and waterproof canvas covering.
 
Lightweight, strong, spacious, and simple
Purpose-built for elevated floor-sitting and user-friendliness, the UnChair offers intuitive functionality, high maneuverability, and tool-free assembly. The UnChair steadily supports 200 pounds while weighing just 15 pounds itself.
 
Bring-Your-Own-Props
The UnChair is a blank canvas that brings all the freedom of floor sitting up to your desk or table. Its slightly shorter-than-typical seat height nicely accommodates a number of floor sitting implements - zafus, zabutons, yoga bolsters, yoga blocks, plain old pillows and blankets, you name it. A zafu and a couple of yoga blocks, for example, bring you up to a conventional working height at most desks/tables and provide numerous possibilities for sitting, meditation, and yoga by elevating your pelvis, knees, and thighs. (Adjustable-height desks like Uppeal unlock even more possibilities!) We encourage you to experiment with postures such as malasana (assisted squat), sukhasana (cross-legged), virasana (straddle), and more.
